Sam Adams

Sam Adams, shortly after beginning his performance at Lamda Chi Alpha was escorted off stage by the Riley County Police Department. The crowd of approximately 300 onlookers were shocked by the event. Party organizers urged everyone to head home. Some people were upset about the early exit, others were just confused and shouted expletives at authorities. Authorities said the reasoning behind the dispersal was a noise complaint.

I emailed Sam's publicist, Amy. She said, "At this point we still haven't been told if he has officially been booked or what the charges are."

Amy emailed me back today and said Sam was officially charged with inciting a riot. Adams posted bail and was released. According to Amy, police showed up at Lamda Chi Alpha, a private residence which had a noise permit, and revoked the permit. Adams continued to perform. During his song, "Driving Me Crazy", police rushed the stage and took Sam with them. In the process, Adams chipped his tooth on a microphone. A counter suit is being looked in to .

More information will be released as it becomes available
